I had a recommendation for these since I'm one of those "Ship Modelers" that constantly deals with photo etch (1/350 and 1/700). I know, always on the lookout for a really good pair of tweezers!
To be honest, I took a "flyer" on these given my stable of expensive Swiss watch quality tweezers that I normally use. I bought the straight and the curved versions - I'm glad I did!
Upon receipt (Which was quick!) I did the "Test", under magnification on how the tips met - dead center spot on! Then proceeded to the "pick up" test of Pontos radar, funnel pieces and Fly Hawk deck vents - perfect control and balance achieved!
Two items of note: 1) Careful, they are very sharp (Ask me how I know!). 2) They're not fragile but care is needed due to the precise tip, don't use them for punch/hole marking - Pressure applied is key here, let the tweezer do the work for you. If you're a deranged ship modeler like me, the photo etch "touch" is very applicable.
Recommended? Absolutely, 100%! These are equal to any high-end watch/lab tweezers I've used, and these are now my go "to's" when working ship rails, radars, ladders, etc.
For the non-ship builders, hobbyist, miniaturist - these will boost your game!

I’ve been a modeler for decades. I’ve had my eye an Tankraft for a few years and finally pulled the trigger on the tweezer set. I’ll most likely purchase the Tiger I mat if it comes out in black with tan illustrations.

I purchased both tweezers and these are hands down the best tweezers I have owned. The are light weight, comfortable, grasp small parts easily, and are very well made. I wish these would have been available 30 years ago!

I was looking for some really high quality tweezers. I build models, and I'm tired of having tiny parts go flying. These look great. As the friend who recommended these said, why pay a lot for a model, but use cheap tools? I just wish you offered similar cross action tweezers, too.

We have received our brand new Titanium precision tweezer set from Tankraft a few days ago. We are very impressed with both the design, and craftsmanship, of these tweezers. We purchased both the straight nosed, and angled nosed, tweezers as set. Each comes in its own easy-to-access clear plastic case, and a small protective tip for the pointed ends of the tweezers (yes they are sharp, so be careful). Easy to handle, lightweight, and very precise tweezers for handling tiny parts. Also, they are Titanium, so they will not magnetize like other metallic tweezers will. For the price, it’s worth getting these Tankraft tweezers as a set. Highly recommended, and we look forward to using them on future modelling projects.
