This is a great scalpel knife. This knife has a nice and practical design. This knife is quite safe, because thanks to its design it not only fits well in the hand, but also does not slip at all. I have been on the hunt for a screw cap hobby knife for a while. These looked good. They seem to be high quality and well designed. My only concern is that the top cap only has about 1.5 threads of engagement before it is fully tight, even though there are 3 threads cut in the pieces.

We have received our brand new Titanium precision hobby knife, from Tankraft a few days ago. We are very impressed with both the design, and craftsmanship, of this hobby knife. This hobby knife comes in its own easy-to-access clear plastic case, x2 Tankraft Roll Stoppers, x5 special fitting #11 blades (with safety container), protective cap, with clip ring, plus x2 O ring seals (for the protective cap). Easy to handle, lightweight, and versatile precision hibby knife. Made out of Titanium, so they will not magnetize, and resistant to oxidation. It's well made except the cap does not screw on smoothly. It is scratchy and catches. I used a silicone lubricant on the threads but still very scratchy and catches when screwed on. Not smooth. Other than that, a well made hobby knife.

It's nice when ordering and receiving a timely message regarding an order. Also, the delivery time was up to par. Important as there have been too many stolen packages in our area so we do make a point to be home for delivery. Also, package arrived in good condition.

First off if your looking at the CountyComm titanium hobby knife just buy it thru Tankraft. This is a CountyComm titanium hobby knife but buying it here you also get the Tankraft Silicone Roll Stoper (Must Have), Titanium Mini Split Ring & Pack Of Spare Blades. I also got a better price buying it at Tankraft. The knife is Titanium so it's lightweight but strong. Super nice machining and golf ball grip works great. Lid screws on easily and helps protect yourself also has a oring that keeps it tight. Kind of loud since titanium screwing ino titanium makes loud screatch. Holds my Xacto Z11 Nitride blades without a problem and lid fits perfectly. Only issue is where the 2 halfs screw together, it constantly comes loose which seems like very easily. Needs to have a oring or some kind of knurling to get some grip and keep from coming loose. I ended up putting some VibraTite VC3 on the threads to stop it coming loose and this fixed the problem and whats nice about VC3 is it can be unscrewed easily but strong enough to keep the threads together. Best Hobby Knife Available And USA Made!

I like the knife, the Handle is as advertised a good grip. I don’t do much need the blade cover yet I am pleased and feel as if I got my monies worth via the knife. How we I cannot say the same about the three mats I bought, not overly impressed there, but the knife is solid and I am glad I made this purchase of the knife.

Honest opinion if your thinking of buying a CountyComm Titanium Hobby Knife just buy it through Tankraft. This is a CountyComm hobby knife except through Tankraft you get a Silicone roll stopper (why i bought it here), small Titanium Split Ring and the normal extras which are spare o-rings and a pack of decent blades. The price was cheaper in the end buying through Tankraft and shipping was fast. These fit my Xacto Z11 Nitride blades with no problem. Only complaint about knife is the handles where they thread together need a oring or some knurling to keep the handle together alittle better. I put a little Vibratite VC3 Threadmate on the threads and it hasn't moved since and the nice thing about VC3 is it isn't like a normal thread locker and is easy to remove with a little extra twist. Very nice machining and a quality USA Made Titanium hobby knife that looks great and should last a lifetime.
