About Tankraft

Tankraft makes quality tools and accessories for scale modelers. The products are designed to look good on the bench and perform well in actual use, with a focus on both form and function. That balance is what has always set the brand apart.

I’ve had Tankraft on my own bench for years. The first time I used the products, it was clear they were built by someone who understood what modelers actually need. When the opportunity came to take the brand forward, it felt like the right next step. I’m grateful to Brad for trusting me with something he built carefully over the years. I take that responsibility seriously. The business is now based in Colorado, and the same standards of quality and service remain the priority.

Modeling has been part of my life for over three decades. Some of my best memories are building alongside my dad. This hobby has given me more than finished models. It has given me personal growth, lasting friendships, and a community that stretches across the world. That is the experience I want every Tankraft customer to have: pride in what they create, connection with other modelers, and real enjoyment of the process.

Life can be serious. Modeling does not have to be. I want Tankraft to stay associated with the joy of the hobby, the kind of satisfaction that keeps people coming back to the bench.

Looking ahead, the focus is clear. Continue delivering the reliable products modelers already trust, while carefully expanding the range with new tools that help people do their best work and have more fun doing it. I’m thankful for my wife’s support as we take this chapter on together. We are committed to growing Tankraft into a brand that remains a constant on modelers’ benches for years to come.

To everyone who has supported Tankraft over the years: thank you. I do not take that history lightly. The shoes are big, and I am ready for the challenge. I look forward to seeing what you create.
